The deck is in and handrail in place some finishing touches required. New gutters, fascias and  cladding of the clubhouse have been completed, completion of the access toilet will be the next major push.
The key tasks are:

[b]17th Feb [/b] First day of work after the new holes cut in the wall!  a bit cool.  lots of dust from the disk cutter we will have to do some serious cleaning up soon.  Good progress today:
Holes cut in wall for extractors and waste pipes in galley 
New main door frame fitted
Insulation in roof now completed
Roof joists fitted to lakeside, only galley side to do
Support for new water tank started
Lots more of the plumbing in place
Frame to support cooker hood started.

[b]16th Feb [/b] Day 2 of the building work Eddie cut hole for new window and modified the lakeside door opening for new door.  Had a 07:45 meeting with heating engineers about installation of gas space and water heaters. David W making and fixing plates to mount main lights on.  Cliff did more plumbing.

[b]15th Feb [/b] Builder (Eddie) started work on modifications to lakeside wall for new windows and doors. Cliff worked on plumbing and David W ran some cabling.

[b]14th Feb [/b]  Lower insulation installed on east side,  holes drilled for some of the pipe runs.  Window positions marked and   mixer found and started.

[b]10th/11th Feb [/b] 
The final roof tie is in place and wall plates on north wall to support ceiling joists. Small holes in roof sealed.  Centre ceiling joists in place and centre runs of roof insulation fitted. Ventilation holes for roof space have been cut. Airbrick in fireplace finished.  Fix wall plate for cold-water tank support.  Old extractor fan hole on wall bricked up. 
 
[b]7th February[/b] All but one of the roof ties are  now in place. Extractor removed from galley, tiles removed from lady's changing room.  More of the re-cabling completed.   Floor in old cleaners cupboard filled.

[b]4th February[/b] First planned Refurbishment work session.  Following the success of the workday on the 3rd the remains of the clubroom and galley have been stripped out and the first two of the new ties have been put in place in the roof.  Much of the old timber that was taken out has been cut up and put in the wood store for burning on the wood burner.  More work on the construction of new steps to the portacabin was completed.

[b]3rd February[/b] Good progress made at the workday, clubroom cleared, low ceiling, tanks and wall removed.  Part of main ceiling cladding also removed.

[b]28th January[/b]  New windows ordered.

[b]17th January[/b]  Building control approval received!!!!   Strip out of galley and tanks etc planned for 4th Feb

17th Feb First day of work after the new holes cut in the wall! a bit cool. lots of dust from the disk cutter we will have to do some serious cleaning up soon. Good progress today:

16th Feb Day 2 of the building work Eddie cut hole for new window and modified the lakeside door opening for new door. Had a 07:45 meeting with heating engineers about installation of gas space and water heaters. David W making and fixing plates to mount main lights on. Cliff did more plumbing.

15th Feb Builder (Eddie) started work on modifications to lakeside wall for new windows and doors. Cliff worked on plumbing and David W ran some cabling.

14th Feb Lower insulation installed on east side, holes drilled for some of the pipe runs. Window positions marked and mixer found and started.

10th/11th Feb
The final roof tie is in place and wall plates on north wall to support ceiling joists. Small holes in roof sealed. Centre ceiling joists in place and centre runs of roof insulation fitted. Ventilation holes for roof space have been cut. Airbrick in fireplace finished. Fix wall plate for cold-water tank support. Old extractor fan hole on wall bricked up.

7th February All but one of the roof ties are now in place. Extractor removed from galley, tiles removed from lady's changing room. More of the re-cabling completed. Floor in old cleaners cupboard filled.

4th February First planned Refurbishment work session. Following the success of the workday on the 3rd the remains of the clubroom and galley have been stripped out and the first two of the new ties have been put in place in the roof. Much of the old timber that was taken out has been cut up and put in the wood store for burning on the wood burner. More work on the construction of new steps to the portacabin was completed.

3rd February Good progress made at the workday, clubroom cleared, low ceiling, tanks and wall removed. Part of main ceiling cladding also removed.

28th January New windows ordered.

17th January Building control approval received!!!! Strip out of galley and tanks etc planned for 4th Feb
