This is a new forum (August 2004) for GMSC, inspired by the idea that a web-forum might be a way of helping members who want to sail but need another boat on the lake for safety and to conform to club advice. See the "I want to sail but . . ." forum under the Sailing category.
Anyone can view these forums but you need to register to be able to create a topic or post a reply. Registering is instant and easy - just click the register link in the top right hand corner and create your profile.
In the "Club Calendar" forum you may create an "event" posting. If you do, please don't create duplicate events and try to link the event to any details in other forums by including the topic URL(s) like this: http://forum.greatmoor.org.uk/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=51
To get the most out of these forums it's a good idea to "SUBSCRIBE" to the 'News' and 'Club Calendar' forums and any others of particular interest to you. Just click the "Subscribe to this forum" link when logged in to the forum(s) of interest. Then you will receive email notifications of any postings made there. More details are here: http://forum.greatmoor.org.uk/faq.asp#notify - the GMSC forum is set to allow "Forum Wide" subscriptions.
