Just an update to let everyone know a full inventory check of the berths has been completed and on the whole the berth allocations are up to date.
I know that some members (and I include myself) were of the impression that some of boats looked like they have not been touched for sometime, following the check it is apparent that most are owned by present members and are actually in use from time to time.
During the check we have noticed that some boats do not have the GMSC stickers, we will be keeping an eye or these boats and would ask members to apply the stickers as requested. Missing stickers may result in unidentified boats being moved to the boat park and the berths being re-allocated.
Any members that have a boat in a berth but have not notified the Membership Secretary, Andrew Hodge, are asked to do so before the new memberships are issued early in 2008.
As a result of the inventory check we now have a list of all unallocated berths, so if you require one please contact me through this forum or ask another Committee Member who will be happy to assist.
