This year we are again offering members (& non members if space allows) the opportunity to gain experience and possible certification in dinghy sailing using the fleet of club boats.

The weekend consist of RYA dinghy training using the club craft, with a continuous assessment of the candidates, during the weekend, and those that reach either the Level 1 or Level 2 standard will receive formal certification. This is very dependent upon experience and weather so please don’t automatically expect that attendance means certification, at either level.

Sailors are accompanied by RYA instructors until they become confident enough to sail without the instructor. The training session is supervised by an RYA coach assessor.

There are no prerequisites for this course, although some experience on the water is preferable. If you want a "try sail" before the course please contact the Training Principal.

Date: Sat/Sun 20/21 June
Time: 09:00 - 18:00 Sat & 09:00 – 16:00 Sun
Price: £50 to members £70 non members
Lunch: TBA

You must be able to attend the whole of the training on both days.

Lets hope for better weather this year - it couldn't be much worse than last year!

There are limited places available - book early to avoid disappointment
